Trg slobode
"Trg slobode" (Serbian Cyrillic: "ТÑг Ñлободе", lit. "Freedom Square") is a song performed by Nikola UroÅ¡eviÄ Gedža. "Trg slobode" became a proposed name when officials considered a name change for Trg republike by SPO leader Vuk DraÅ¡koviÄ, though this change was never carried out even when the party governed Belgrade in the late 90's.[1]

Music and lyrics
The song commemorates SPO members who participated at the protests that took place at Trg republike on 9 March 1991. With the song being a reference to the protests, it makes note of the newer generation that took part in this event with the lyrics "Okuplja se Srbadije mlada".
