Stan'te paše i ustaše (Serbian Cyrillic: Стан'те паше и усташе, lit. "Stop Pashas and Ustashes") is the second studio album by Serb war singer Baja Mali Knindža, released in mid 1992 by Nina Trejd. It is Baja's first album released by Nina Trejd and the first collaboration with Orkestar Slavka Mitrovića Caleta. Compared to his debut album, Stan'te paše i ustaše's style would be more closer to traditional folk and with a noticeably bigger budget. With the album selling about 300,000 copies, it would be the second best-selling album in Baja's entire career.

Background

With the success following the release of Ne dam Krajine, Baja set out to make another war album. For unknown reasons Jugodisk, who had published Ne dam Krajine, was unable to publish it. The Zagreb-based company Jugoton was in talks to publish the album, though the deal fell through. Željko Grujić would take matters into his own hands and publish this new album under his label, Nina Trejd. Stan'te paše i ustaše would become Nina Trejd's very first catalogued release, uniquely listed as НК-001.

Release

Stan'te paše i ustaše was released sometime in mid 1992 by Nina Trejd and immediately gained traction. It would go on to sell about 300,000 copies in its entire run. The songs featured on this album would be so popular that they became permanent setlist features for future live shows.

In the same year, SRTV Knin produced a music video for Vrati se vojvodo. The video had low budget production as it shows clips of Baja in Kovačić, near Knin at the house of Četnik vojvode, Đujić Momčilo albeit in poor quality. Stan'te paše i ustaše also was featured in the Vreme article "Šta pevaju Srbi i Hrvati?" later that year.

Milovan Filipović, who worked on the event "Poselo 202", was interested in Baja's work and played two songs from the album. He was subsequently fired.

The following year, the VHS compilation Najveći hitovi would include music videos for "Stan'te paše i ustaše", "Kad sam bio mali", "Božić je" and the aforementioned music video for "Vrati se vojvodo".

In 1997, Baja would receive a Platinum record for the album at Nina Trejd's "Hala Borik Banja Luka" and would perform a live show with an alternate version of "Kad sam bio mali" as the opening act.

In 2015 Nina Trejd would upload the album on YouTube and digital platforms like iTunes, Amazon Music, and Spotify. This version would include "Ne dam Krajine" from the album of the same name, though the reason for its inclusion is unknown. In 2020, it would be re-released to digital platforms, this time with "Ne dam Krajine" omitted.
