"Aoj Sranjo jesi lud" (Serbian Cyrillic: "Аој Срањо јеси луд", lit. "Hey Sranjo You Are Mad") is a song written and performed by Draguntin Knežević Krunica. It is notable for having two versions.

Music and lyrics

Both versions use the same instrumental and as a result are roughly the same length. The instrumental is originally from "Pesama Nikoli Kalabiću - Komunjare lažu, lažu..." from the Krunica album Srpska oluja. The other version is notable for changing the subject from Sranjo to Franjo with slightly milder language. "Sranjo" is a mocking nickname for the former president of Croatia, Franjo Tuđman, and is a portmanteau of "Sranje" meaning "shit" and "Franjo". Despite having less explicit lyrics, the song still uses derogative term "balija", and the explicit lyrics in the song Četnička oluja are unchanged. The reason for the change from vulgar to cleaner lyrics is unknown.
