Music and lyrics
While there is no official interpretation of "Zatvor", the song tells the story of how a patriotic man is put in jail for stealing, hoping to make it out. It is implied in the lyrics that this man is framed.
The song may have been based off of an experience Baja had while traveling in March of 1993 where he and Cvetin TodoroviÄ were detained in a prison in St. Gallen for reasons that were unclear. His detainment only lasted for about two hours and was subsequently let go. The line "Pao sam, drugi su krivi" may be a reference to how a murder in the area caused the authorities to increase their presence. The line "opet sam krao" may be in reference to when Swiss authorities requested to see proof of purchase, thinking that Baja stole some CDs.[1]
