Gdje cvetaju božuri (Serbian Cyrillic: ÐдÑе ÑвеÑаÑÑ Ð±Ð¾Ð¶ÑÑи, lit. "Where peonies bloom") is the sixth studio album by folk singer Lepi MiÄa, released in 1994 by iCD.
BackgroundRelease
Gdje cvetaju božuri was released in 1994 by iCD. It is Lepi MiÄa's fourth patriotic war album, and the only one released after the music video compilation Srbima za sva vremena. There are no known music videos for any of the tracks. The track "Muslimani, bolje da vas nema" (lit "Muslims, You're Better Off Gone") later became widely known on the internet for its provocative lyrics and ultranationalist themes. Lepi MiÄa later received criticism for the track after he rose to TV stardom on the Serbian reality TV show "Zadruga". It was reported by media outlets that MiÄa stood by the song, which he wrote the lyrics to.[1]
