Music and lyrics

This is a sad song about how the protagonist lost his lover forever and now he's desperately walking around a park and begging for her return.

Music video

The video starts with Baja smoking a cigarette. The scene then switches to him singing the chorus near a tree. Before the second verse, camera shows the tree from the bottom. It then shows Baja leaning on it from different perspectives. He sings the next verse and chorus near the same tree. Then, Baja walks around the park while the camera is following him. The video ends on a scene of Baja leaning on the tree

Lyrics

Lyrics:

Kraj jedne stare krčme
Gde cveta bagrem beo
Tu sam je večeri jedne
Sasvim slučajno sreo

Hej, stari bagreme
Reci joj kako skitam
Reci joj da za nju pitam
I da zbog nje plaču oka dva
Reci joj, kad te molim
Reci joj da je volim
Da je volim kao nekada

U krošnji starog bagrema
Stalno pevale ptice
A ja sam ljubio tada
Prelepo njeno lice

Hej, stari bagreme
Reci joj kako skitam
Reci joj da za nju pitam
I da zbog nje plaču oka dva
Reci joj, kad te molim
Reci joj da je volim
Da je volim kao nekada

Negde je zauvek nestala
Prošle su zime i leta
Otkada nje mi nema
Stari bagrem ne cveta

Hej, stari bagreme
Reci joj kako skitam
Reci joj da za nju pitam
I da zbog nje plaču oka dva
Reci joj, kad te molim
Reci joj da je volim
Da je volim kao nekada

Lyrics (English):

By an old tavern
Where a white acacia blooms
There, one evening I
Met her completely by accident

Hey, old acacia
Tell her that I wander
Tell her that I ask about her
And that two eyes cry because of her
Tell her, I beg you
Tell her that I love her
That I love her like I did before

In the crown of the old acacia
Birds used to sing constantly
And back then I kissed
Her beautiful face

Hey, old acacia
Tell her that I wander
Tell her that I ask about her
And that two eyes cry because of her
Tell her, I beg you
Tell her that I love her
That I love her like I did before

She had disappeared somewhere forever
Winters and summers have passed
Since she's been gone
The old acacia does not bloom

Hey, old acacia
Tell her that I wander
Tell her that I ask about her
And that two eyes cry because of her
Tell her, I beg you
Tell her that I love her
That I love her like I did before
