Music and lyrics
Savo Derikonja was the commander of the First Sarajevo Brigade of the Romanija Corps in the Yugoslav army during World War 2.[1] He fought both Partizan and Ustasha insurgents in Bosnia and Herzegovina (at the time part of the Independent State of Croatia). At the end of the war, he would continue to fight against the Partizans. He is said to have died somewhere in the mountains in the late 40's to Partizan forces.[2]
