The album's cover would have "east" and "west" on the back instead of the generic "side A/B" for unknown reasons. Despite the name, the title track is a love song rather than a patriotic one. The only songs that are patriotic or war-related are "Oj Krajino majski cvetu", "Moj je deda ratnik bio", and "Junak Veljko". Most of the patriotic songs were written by Miladin Krvgin Savić (who wrote for Prva Linija's ''Ako padnem brate moj'' a year prior). Unlike some albums where all patriotic albums are on one side and all love songs on the other, the songs alternate on the album. Legenda's vocals are unique  as they are more delicate compared to the vocals of other wartime singers.
