ÄetniÄke pesme was released in July 1990, "Zalson" Å abac. Most of the songs published in this album were also featured in 12 najlepÅ¡ih ÄetniÄkih pesama which was published in the same year. However, the songs "Na planini, na Jelici" and "Nad Kraljevom živa vatra seva" would not appear on an official release until 1994 when its 18-song counterpart was released.
The album would initially be promoted in the publication, Velika Srbija as Stare ÄetniÄke pesme.[1] Advertisements for ÄetniÄke pesme were also shown along side the newly released Otadžbinske pesme in the publication, Srpska reÄ from mid-October 1991 to mid-April 1992.[2][3]
