"'''Osvetite glavu Milanovu'''" (Serbian Cyrillic: "Осветите главу Миланову", <small>lit.</small> "Avenge the Head of Milan") is a song written and performed by Željko Samardžić Panonac. It is the closing track to the A-side of ''Srpske patriotske pesme'' and serves as the closing track to the [[Srpske patriotske pesme (VHS)|VHS of the same name]]. It is one of three songs that has not been officially uploaded by any YouTube channels owned and operated by Panonac.

==Music and lyrics==
Although the song tells of the demise of a "Milan", it is unknown if it is based on actual historical events. The lyrics "blizu Cerske postradalo srba" could refer to the battle of Cer. However the stanzas that follow contradict this as the battle of Cer was primarily between Serbia and the Austro-Hungarian empire with the Ottoman Empire on the opposite side of the country.

A translation by velikasrbija.net suggests that "Cerske" refers to the village of Cerska in present-day Bosnia and Hercegovina. During World War 2, the municipality in which Cerska is located in, Vlasenica was part of the Independent State of Croatia. While crimes did occur within the municipality during that era, there is currently no documentation that these crimes occurred specifically within the village itself. There is also no documentation of crimes happening within the village during the Yugo Wars that could support this interpretation, suggesting that the song is a fictional scenario that intended to boost morale.
===Lyrics:===
<poem>
Oj Milane, Srbine bez mane
Ustaške te umoriše rane
osta kući udovica mlada
svjeću pali, još se tebi nada
šta ćeš tamo gde je večna tama
kada ti je mesto među nama

nema više belije goluba
blizu cerske postradalo srba
postradalo sa puškom u ruci
mučenički pobiše ih turci

a tebe su bacili na travu
i na kolac nabili ti glavu
pa su onda slavili alaha
pored glave mrtvoga junaka

sinovi ti stalno ime zovu
osvetite glavu Milanovu
bračo mila celivajte rane
'svete tatu, bijte muslimane
</poem>
===Lyrics (English):===
<poem lang="en">
Oh Milan, a Serb without flaws
Ustaša wounds tire you
She stays home, a young widow
Lights a candle, still hoping for you
What are you doing in eternal darkness
When your place is with us

There are no more white pigeons
Near Cer Serbs suffered
Wounded with a rifle in hand
Martyred by the Turks

But they threw you on the grass
And nailed your head on a stake
Then glorified Allah
Next to the head of a dead hero

Your sons constantly are crying out your name
Avenge the head of Milan
Dear Brothers, kiss the wounds
Avenge your father, fight the Muslims
</poem>
