In early 1992, [[Željko Grujić]] formed his own record label Nina Trejd to publish [[Baja Mali Knindža]]'s second album [[Stan'te paše i ustaše|''Stan'te paše i ustaše'']] after a publishing deal with both Jugodisk and Jugoton fell through.<ref>"[https://web.archive.org/web/20070819110329/http://baja-mali-knindza.com/intervju2.html У Босни нас слушају и Хрвати и Муслимани!]" baja-mali-knindza.com. Retrieved 5 April 2025.</ref> Upon release it would become a big hit and allow Nina Trejd to be one of the few mainstream labels to publish patriotic material during the war.

Sometime between 2005 and 2008, Nina Trejd would rename itself to "Nidžo Music Company" and only publish a few releases before ceasing production.

Nina Trejd's YouTube channel would be created in the mid-2010s and have uploads of nearly all of their material on YouTube, as well as an expanded catalog on streaming services. In 2024 their uploads on streaming services would slowly be removed and in June, their entire channel was terminated for apparent copyright violations. It was reinstated later in the year.

It contains songs by [[Nikola Urošević Gedža]], [[Svetomir Ilić Siki]], [[Baja Mali Knindža]], [[Brano Trifković]] and [[Mišo Maunaga]].

==Background==
This compilation would use songs from various albums over the course of the war. Some songs would be renamed such as "Boj na Kosovu" being renamed to "Himna Kosovu" and "Lepo nam je reko Sveti Sava" being renamed to "Samo sloga Srbina Spašava". The album would also be the second time the song "[[Obilić me zove]]" went under a different name: "Kosovo je Srpsko". The message on the j-card's back roughly translates to "against dark forces we fight with songs; songs supported us, thank God !!!" suggesting that the album was intended to be a "greatest hits" compilation for war music.

Despite the album crediting Željko Jovanović as an arranger, Željko did not arrange any of the songs featured in the compilation. Songwriters are not credited on this release.

The song's overall mood is sadness. The protagonist of this song turned to alcohol and lost all of his friends, because he couldn't find a lover and is now stuck in a hopeless circle of drinking in kafanas.

The video starts off with two men drinking in a kafana and then switches behind two girls, Baja, and other people talking. It then goes to Baja singing at the table. Before each chorus, video switches to one of two girls. After the chorus, it shows a girl, before switching to a scene where Baja comes down the stairs. During the verse, video switches to a scene of Baja in kafana, when he sings "Volim te budalo", the video changes to a woman lipsyncing this sentence. During the repetition of the chorus, the scene shifts to show "Kotobanja" and Baja pulling up there on a BMW E34. He appears very drunk and struggles to walk or to enter the doors. When he sings "Volim te budalo", the video changes to a closeup of woman lips saying it. The video ends with a single frame with two people standing in Kotobanja's doorway.

The video was filmed in Kotobanja, ul. Kosovska 1A, Surčin.

In 2015, [[SuperTon]] would upload the album to YouTube and various other streaming platforms for the first time. It would be reuploaded along with other albums in their catalog and redistributed to streaming services in 2020.

In modern times, "[[Tata]]" would gain infamy on the internet as it was used for the meme "My dad is a war criminal". As a result, its original message changed from making fun of war propaganda to condoning the act of committing war crimes.

It then goes to show prisoners splitting a loaf of bread and people looking out from a window. A woman then comes to Baja and they kiss through the bars and they hold hands. At the start of the war, sanctions would be imposed on Yugoslavia, destabilizing the Dinar and causing record hyperinflation within the economy. Yugoslavs resorted to using more stable currencies with the most common ones being the German Mark and the US Dollar. Due to the instability of the local currency, the conversion rates were consequently also rendered unstable. Black market currency dealers would attempt to mitigate this by setting their own rates usually lower than market price. This would not be the first instance of lack market currency exchange within the country as this phenomenon has been documented since the 1970's, however with the economy reaching peak instability during the wartime period, their involvement was bigger than previous periods.

That scene keeps until the end of the chorus, where he puts the hat on another girl. The video then briefly switches to a picture of Novak in military uniform. The video then cuts to a scene where Baja and the girls are dancing near the bench. One of the girls is more energetic than others. When he repeats the chorus, he pretends to cry, while holding the hat. In the next scene one of the girls puts the hat on Baja, sitting on a table. The scenes then switch back and forth. When he sings "Pogrešnu mi kartu dala" he's being dealt a hand of 19, which is not bad. He keeps betting on between the verses. Then, Baja sits down near her, kisses her and sings. The video ends with them both standing up and walking to the door. A picture of another girl appears for a few seconds during each verse, he removes it during the last chorus.
